Despite the egret that found our backyard snack-stop a few months ago!
There are at least a dozen in the 300 gal., and a half-dozen in the Intex pool! And there is a baby in the pool.
So, now I can speak from experience when I post an answer from people who think all of their fish were eaten or were beamed away! BE PATIENT, AND HOLD OFF ON THE FUNERAL PREPARATIONS!
Nature never ceases to amaze me! At one point I had taken a pole and did some serious swishing in both “ponds.” I was certain that if there were any fish at all, that “swishing” them would make them appear. Nope. Well, darn, those guys can hide out quite well!
And now that spring is here, the herons and egrets have returned to the lake!
