Hi guys hoping I can get some help.
I have a pond which Ive had for over 20 years.
After the last rains an ugly looking algae has appeared and taken over the pond.
Not sure what it is but it looks terrible this has never happen before.
Ive never used any chemicals .
Hoping someone can direct me in the right direction.

Can't tell from the picture but it looks like a floating plant more than it does an algae. Skimming water from the surface can collect it but it is a bit of a battle. But you can also try loading the pond with fountains the extra aeration is general not well recieved with floating plants like duck weed.
