Advice on Pond mussels

I have 5 in my pond, but would like to know how best to keep them happy over the winter. My question is, will they be able to survive over winter, if I have a de-icer in the pond, or should I keep them in my Shrimp aquarium over the winter.

Winter temperatures where I live range between 1°C (33.8F) to -5 (23°F)

Im open to any suggestions, thanks in advance.

If you can keep the pond green with algae and not go aneirobic I would have thought mussels would be happy

If they're a naturally occurring mussel in your waterways, they probably would not do well in a warm water tropical aquarium.
