Adding space to my desert pond

i have a small pond with a waterfall , cement with natural rock. waterfall has square area in the drop area with glass tiles with colored lights inside. I am getting ready to expand the pond. I am not exactly sure how i am going to do it so i thought this would be a good place to get some ideas... From people with experience.

Yep this is the place to come to for pond help. Ask some questions and maybe show us some photo's of what you have now,tell us what you want and show us the area you are dealing w/etc.

It would help us a lot if you could post pictures of your pond. Unfortunately, I am one of those people who has to SEE something to be able to picture it.
