A new visitor

Not sure what kind of bird this is but it has been coming by in recent days, very skittish bird which is a good thing since he seems determined to get himself some breakfast.

Green Heron! Deadly on Frogs and small fish. Not real bad about attacking larger koi like a Blue Heron will. To me one of the prettiest of the Herons, but I wouldn't want it near my pond.:lol:

they are quite timid so might not be to difficult to scare it away hopefully

Yes this one is very timid, have seen it for the last several days but everytime I went to get the camera and take a pic from inside the house he would fly away.

Pretty little bird, I had one visit my arizona pond, or something real similar, never really managed to get any fish.

I had some nest in the tree in my front yard before ....A real mess to put up with i make them feel very unwelcome now
