A black spot, a parasite?

Shall I be worry about my fishy's black spot near its head (see photos below)? Is it a parasite? I didn't notice it before, now the spot has been getting bigger as time goes by.

Just looks like a spot of colour to me. Parasites are usually accompanied by a bit of a bloody area around them.

Looks like color spot to me too and if it is growing it is prolly cuz those fish can change color as they grow.

I third the motion. First impression is it's color, and it may get much larger still! I'll be watching this post for anyone that might have a different answer, though. I have a few koi that lost red color and black, and some fish gain color as they get older. Hopefully that is what is happening with your fish!
