4000 aqua ultima2 filter

hi looking for input on a used 4000 gal ultima2 for $450. Does anyone own one or should i build my own .

the diy filters are easy to build, cheap to build and work well. So depends on if you would rather spend the money or make your own. I know nothing about that filter.

Might want to post a link to one, or post pics, I doubt may here actually know what a 4000 gal Ultima2 looks like, much less could give a review for it. Is it a flow through system, canister pressure filter, Other?

ultimas...they aint cheap!!!...you could build a few filter for a lot less.

it is an expensive filter about 1000 new. a bead filter.
