Any suggestions for a perennial? High or low light doesn't matter. My ph is 7.5, and 440ppm approx.

Thanks for any tips. I was thinking cat-tail, and then I ran out of ideas lol.

I had a problem finding suitable plants for my zone as well.
I was able to find a large selection of native plants from a retailer/ wholesaler that supplied local municipalities for restoration projects.
You could try that.

My supplier here is www.bbcreek.ca
You can also look through their list.

cannas and banana plants and even some of the normal grasses but they will spread fast and get lots of roots and get big .I trim the roots .Mini cattails are the best .They also have mini elephant ears .I grow the black mini ones and they get about a foot tall .I keep water hyacinth in my basement for the winter
