I have 3 koi fish in a small pond. I want to ask whats the minimum gallon size tank I should buy for the 3 of them because I want to bring them inside.
Not to sound like a wise guy but get the biggest one you can fit and afford. Whatever you get should not be permenent. Koi need alot of room to roam to be happy. Not really siuted for a small tank. Meaning anything under 240 gallons. Maybe 180.
Just a general question in regards to this and it may of been a myth I heard about goldfish. Will koi and/or goldfish stop or limit growth if they live in a small space?
That is true.

I have an 8" koi that I rescued from a 10 gallon tank. He is stout and has a bigger than normal head. I think now that he has more room, he will start growing again and hopefully take on the look of a normal Koi in time.
